    An SVdP member will reach out by email or personal invitation to ask our volunteers to help collect after Masses: Saturday, after 5:15PM Vigil Mass and Sunday – after all morning Masses. New volunteers are always welcome to join our band of happy beggars.

    Join us at Casa Calderon around 9am to help us make the non-perishable food and paper product grocery bags. We currently serve 48 Casa residents with this end-of-the-month assistance. Volunteers can park in the STM parking lot and enter Casa's main entrance off of Virginia Street. Sign in and follow the main hallway north to the community room where we gather.     Our SVdP STM Conference Volunteers serve @Kearney Center the Third Thursday each month. We meet at 6:30 to coordinate our efforts and start serving dinner at 7:00pm. Contact Joe O'Neil, 509-2086 Tasks range from collecting dinner tickets at the door; Plating dinner on the food service line; Filling cups and serving drinks; Wrapping utensils in napkins for the service line; Washing dishes to keep up with clean cups, plates and utensil needs during dinner; Replenishing food containers on food line; Wiping down tables; cleaning food line and putting food away in refrigerators or food warmers for stragglers.
